Steve Campi, president of the Central California Council of Dive Clubs, was the April speaker. CenCal is dedicated to the principles of wise and equitable legislation, safety, conservation, access, sportsmanship, underwater sports and to furthering the knowledge of the marine phenomena. All attendees received a sample of FOGTECH® mask defogger, and several lucky winners received bottles. We also had some new visitors attend our club meeting. We hope to see you all at future meetings and events!

Bruce Watkins gave an exciting slide show presentation on sharks at our March meeting. The Catalina Island clean-up was a success, and $22,000 in prizes were given out.

Dave Behrens gave an informative and interesting presentation about Nudibranchs at our November meeting.

Flash Gordon's Africa presentation at the October meeting was fantastic!

The Harbor clean-up on September 18 in Monterey was a success with a great turn-out and great prizes. Pat won fins for bringing up a razor scooter. The next harbor clean-up will be at Catalina Island on February 26.
